Mustafa Mir joins the CDB faculty as Assistant Professor

Dr. Mir’s laboratory will develop and apply new imaging technologies, including light-sheet microscopy to understand and manipulate the interplay between nuclear organization, transcriptional regulation, and gene expression patterns during cell-fate determination in developing embryos. He isespecially interested in the interactions between disordered regions of proteins and their role in nuclear organization.
