Our faculty study principles of intracellular signaling and dissect pathways that direct cell-cell communication. Projects include elucidating the mechanisms of cell polarization, uncovering signaling circuits in chromatin remodeling, investigating gradient formation and signal processing in the BMP pathway, and deciphering communication within stem cell niches.
